Yo I am so happy to have found this forum...I have been beating my brains out trying to find anyone with enough knowledge to point me in the right direction. I was looking at one post and I want to find out if this is to good to be true..(Matt wrote)
While it won't be the greatest ride in world, it should be better than stock, and will still get you low. Air Ride Tech sells an 'air over leaf' kit that uses sleeve bags to mount on top of your leaf springs.
So you'd break your leaf springs down to the longest leaf and the shortest leaf (remove all the ones in between), then mount the kit on them. The part number is ARK3002, and you should be able to get it from Innovative Air Suspension (.com) and if not, then suicidedoors.com
So.......
I have a full size c10(84) and I just flipped the spring on it to get it lower, and now I would like to get it lower/higher when i go to shows. I am not interested in raising/lowering air bags with a electronic system(valves) I want to use a simple manual set up with shrader valves(incorrect spelling) anyway, the problem I am running into is the four link setup. I was reading on the main page (burning rubber) about the situations you incur with understeer bumpstear and all the problems you have with setting up a correct four link. All I want is to install a cnotch with over the axle bag brackets with two 2600 bags, that way at ride height it looks the way i want if I want to air it down at a show I can, I have access to air always so tanks and valves are not needed. So the main point is can i get away with what matt suggested by taking apart the leaf pack(longest and shortest) and use that instead of constructing four link?

?Any suggestions would be great.....
