Heart Break Tonight
« on: 10/10/06, 06:51 PM »

This forum isn't much for off-topic type discussion, but I thought I'd share that I plan to do some more work to the truck in the near future, but it's going to require that it be down for a while.  Therefore, I needed another vehicle.

Sadly, I had to put the SS outside.  Sad

(click on small images to enlarge)

I bought this for my daily also because the SS engine has 184,000 miles and is gonna need some work there as well.  The paint on the SS isn't show quality or anything .. hell, some of it is rattle can spray paint from Wal-Mart.  Cheesy
But the Civic is an 03 with nice black paint and "baller" rims.  I feel like this area is pretty safe compared to others around Memphis, but I still don't want to risk the rims getting jacked or the car being exposed to the elements.  With the SS I can lay it out and disable my switchbox which keeps the wheels safe, nor can anyone steal the whole truck.  The best anyone can do is break a window and steal a factory CD player and/or the whopping 8" MTX.
So the Civic has taken the truck's place in the garage for now.  It pained me to leave the truck outside.

Anyway, here's the car.

Such a sad, sad day ... I know.

I kept thinking about it last night and this morning while getting ready for work.  I think I may just park the car outside and maybe get a cover for the elements, an alarm for security, and locking nuts for the wheels. I played musical cars again this morning and put the truck back in the garage when I left for work.  I just couldn't stand it.  haha

Well, at least you have your toy indoors. Both of mine are outside.

Yeah, it's inside.  It only sat outside that one night.  The Civic has been outside ever since.  The truck is up on jack stands right now.

I'm stuck in a 2nd floor apartment , so all 3 of my rides are outside all the time .  Sad Oh well . BTW  my rides are a 92 S-10 Blazer , A 71 International 3/4 ton 4x4 p-up , and my baby  , a 93 Dime . The Blazer is 4 wd so it's gettin lifted , the Intl is gettin sold , and the Dime is gettin bagged really soon (Thanks Uncle Sam  lol). I envy all of y'all with garages , but i hope to have my own shop opened up soon . Until then , I'll be heartbroke every night .

I drag my tag 'cause i can . LOL .
