Title: Ripped off by a company, need help
Post by: djshag on 11/23/08, 06:02 PM
I was looking to get an air ride setup installed on my 1997 honda accord. The company i went to installed all the cylinders and ran all the hoses from them to the compressor, the pancake tank is hooked up and ready as well. I even saw the entire setup working, they were able to lift and drop my car. After a day or two they said something was wrong with the plug and play setup and needs to be replaced. The guy wont return my calls and the plug n play "box" has no info on it. Ive attached some pictures, would anyone know which brand this is so i can get it replaced?

it is really common for a hack ass shop to screw up the wiring on easy stuff its idiot work wiring a relay/solenoid it looks like a couple of componits are unplugged to like a air line and a mullex harness but its probably to keep it from smoking further, make sure there is some type of protection in place like a fuse or a circute breaker if not that is a start as to why it don't work. air lines and cylinders are not going to cause this, A bad or smoked compressor will allthough I think they probably screwed up wiring this cheap but simple piece. also Check the ground wire "the one screwed in to the metal" and nut and bolt it insted use lock washers to keep it from getting loose. remember you get what you pay for with all in one stuff!!!!!!! one sleepy kid in Korea could mess up 200 of these.  I would contact the B.B.B and your city chamber of commerce about that "shop"
