So Im not very experienced in the air ride field to experience every type of bag out there and how they perform. Ive only owned a few bagged minis in my time and they all had firestone on them, so my question is which brand of bag is better? I have a set of 1/2" firestones 2600s for my nissan, and Ive heard they like to "balloon". What would cause that?

its pretty much personal preference fire stone you dont get is much lift with. slam specialties are a really good bag, it one of the best on the market now.
